Clay Fish

This is one of my favorite lessons to do with the 4th graders. I can't remember where I found this lesson, but the kids love it! We talk about different clay building methods making a pinch pot for the mouth and coils for the lips. Students then add their own "accessories."

Welcome to the Busy Bee Studio. I teach art to students in grades 4-6 and kindergarten. As my students work busily in the art room, I will strive to post their creative adventures here. Being a new teacher (this is my third year), I know the difficulties of finding quality art lessons with good pictures. Please be aware that I am not claiming these lessons as my own.
